Places to eat

Eating is hard in Bokjeong, mainly because of the many, many restaurants. But, here are a few suggestions that are EASY.

Pizza Day & Coffee this is a little Korean Pizza shop, that is next to the Home Mart express near the Pirate. Although the menus are not in English, the Driver at the Restaurant speaks English. Menus are posted, with Pictures. My kids love the cheese pizza from here. Boxes are stamped with a voucher, collect 10, and you get a pizza for free!

Avec Des Frites is a small shop that has French Fries & Beer. Simple. Order your size of Fries, pick your sauces, & have a beer while you wait.

Playgrounds

There are a few in the neighborhood, this is the one near the Police Station. This one has equipment that is good for young children, and there is another, that is closer to the Fountain, that is better for older children.

Shopping

Garden5 is a huge shopping complex, that is relatively new. There is an Emart and Kim's Club for your groceries. There are towers for many different things, but largely empty higher up. The Techno building has Toys on the 5th floor. The basement below the "Tool" building has a Large Screen Golf centre. There is also a cinema and a roof top garden. All of the Towers are connected underground. Bus #30, 32, 70, 100, 116, 119, 302, 303 gets you there in 5 minutes from Bokjeong-dong.
Kim's Club have home delivery service, which is worth it when you might be traveling by bus.
